Cleaning and Care Guide

SUEDE

Clean with a soft-bristled brush or a hard sponge. They can be protected with specialized sprays, for example, our flordeasoka PROTECTOR. It is important to first test on a small area to ensure it does not damage the leather.

For special stains, specialized shampoos can be used, following the product instructions.

For difficult stains (wine, for example), we always recommend taking them to a cobbler.

SILK VELVET
  1. First clean with a soft brush. The sandal must be dry so that dust and traces of mud or similar can be removed.
  2. Steam the shoe at a distance of 15 or 20 cm with an iron. Wipe with a damp cloth to remove persistent mud or dust stains.
  3. Brush again with steam, once clean, to comb the velvet and leave it without marks.

In this video you can see how to comb the velvet of our shoes so that they are always perfect.

For special stains, we recommend exclusively using our flordeasoka CLEANING KIT, strictly following the product instructions. See example of how to clean them.

In case of difficult stains (wine, for example), we always recommend taking them to the shoemaker.

They can be protected with specialized sprays, for example our flordeasoka PROTECTOR.

SMOOTH OR PRINTED LEATHER

Wipe with a damp cotton cloth.

We recommend moisturizing the products with cream once or twice a year to prevent the leather from deteriorating. Always use appropriate products, free of silicones, petroleum, or derivatives.

It is also important in this case to first test in a small area to ensure it will not damage the leather.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY FLORDEASOKA?

It is important that the shoe does not deform and retains its original shape. The ideal is to use shoe trees to store them.

If you use tissue paper or handkerchiefs to stuff them, it will help them last longer.

Always clean them the day after or within a few days of their last use.

Don't forget to always store them in the cotton bags we send you with your order so that they are protected.

* Rain and waterlogged ground are the worst enemies for our leather soles. Flordeasoka is not responsible for shoes damaged due to this reason.
