Some trips start as a work agenda and end up becoming a deeply human experience. Such was our getaway to the heart of Veneto, to Bassano del Grappa, where flordeasoka found much more than a destination: it found connection, inspiration, and community.
Hand in hand with briochehandmade, we attended Designer Day, a meeting that allowed us to get closer, face-to-face, with those who give meaning to what we do. There we had the opportunity to meet our "Italian brides," see them try on our shoes, and, above all, talk with them, listen to their stories, and share our own. It was an authentic, unfiltered moment, where design stopped being a product to become a bond.
None of this would have been possible without Oli and Cami, our Italian flordeasoka ambassadors, who took care of every detail with a warmth and dedication that was felt at every moment. Thanks to them, the trip had a soul.
Bassano del Grappa welcomed us with its serene beauty: at the foot of Mount Grappa, embraced by the Brenta River, and crowned by the emblematic Ponte degli Alpini, the city was the perfect setting for this story. Strolling through it was like entering a balance between tradition and creativity, the same balance we seek in each of our designs.
We return from this trip with the certainty that growing also means getting closer. That true luxury lies in shared time, in sincere conversations, and in the possibility of looking into the eyes of those who are part of our journey.
Because in the end, beyond shoes, what we build are relationships.
