A country wedding is beautiful. It's also grass, gravel, dirt paths... and a whole day in your shoes. Before choosing them, first consider the ground you'll be walking on.
Lawn and grass
The most treacherous terrain for heels. A thin heel sinks, you walk leaning forward, and the cocktail hour turns into torture. Opt for a block or trapeze heel, or a well-structured flat shoe.

Gravel
Unstable and prone to slipping underfoot, this is not ideal for staying smiling until dessert. Go for good foot support with crossed straps like the Greta and preferably a closed or semi-closed model, like the Renata.

Dirt path or esplanade
This is ultimately the most forgiving terrain. Wedges, trapeze heel sandals, leather or linen, anything works. You can also opt for a closed model to avoid dust.

At flordeasoka, we have heels for all terrains.
