The bride's shoes, that “something blue”.

Los zapatos de la novia, ese “algo azul”.

Why a blue shoe for a bride?

Wedding tradition says that every bride should wear “something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.” Many choose an accessory that meets several of these conditions and other times they choose different things for each attribute.

Wearing something blue depending on where you get married can have different meanings. There are those who say that it is a symbol of fidelity, love and purity.

Not all brides comply with this tradition. But many find the color blue as a fun and differentiating element that can add a touch to their look. We have seen brides, for example, who include a blue bow in their bouquet, or choose earrings or jewelry with blue stones such as sapphires or aquamarine stones. In the case of our brides, many opt for wearing “something blue” with their wedding shoes, and we love the idea.

Some proposals for sandals with a blue touch

We leave you a selection with different blue shoes and sandals , of different styles and shades for all of you who are thinking of completing your outfit with a touch of blue.

1. MAGRITTE TOPAZ

Our classic design and top seller, Magritte. The most comfortable and flattering braided sandal on the market, due to its shape, silk velvet and heel support. The shine of the braided knot makes its blue tone blend perfectly with the white tones of the wedding dresses.

2. INDIGO BABUSKA

A pointed court shoe with a rustic linen touch. Perfect for brides with weddings in the countryside, due to its comfortable block heel and the powder blue tone of its suede leather. It looks great in more natural and bohemian environments.

3. GRETA TOPAZ

Our favorite closed-toe shoe with a low heel and extra support thanks to its crossed straps and closed heel. All of you who prioritize comfort but want an elegant and sophisticated shoe, this is your model. What we like most is the versatility of its design, once the wedding is over, it becomes a perfect blue shoe for a guest.

4. TILDA EUCALYPTUS

A comfortable closed heel of moderate height, with a low block heel and pleated upper. Our favorite for brides who opt for midi wedding dresses, the fact that it does not have a bracelet on the heel lengthens and stylizes the leg.

5. CÓSIMA MARINO

Bold, ground-breaking and fun brides, a dark blue strappy sandal that breaks with all the whites and neutral tones typical of weddings, adding a cool and super sophisticated touch. This sandal is also very versatile as a wardrobe staple for guests, events, parties or cocktails.

6. JANIS ACQUA

A perfect blue-green shade, a shoe with a softer touch of color. Many brides want sandals but do not like to show their toes too much, it is the ideal design because its upper collects the foot a lot, showing just enough. The buckle and pleated velvet make it a very original design and different from other sandals.

7. DORIS TOPAZ

If the finishing touch to your bridal look is the blue shoe, the Doris sandal is perfect because it doesn't lack detail. Its golden braid joining the pleated upper gives it a super special and different jewel shoe effect.
