We are thrilled to announce that one of our shoes will be part of the "Fashion at Your Feet" exhibition at the Museo del Traje, which will take place from October 29, 2026, to January 31, 2027. A space dedicated to preserving, studying, and celebrating the evolution of fashion and clothing.
This invitation represents a recognition of our way of understanding design: recovering the essence of a piece, reinterpreting it from a contemporary perspective, and giving it a new life without losing its identity.
Our shoe will be present alongside other creations that tell how fashion is memory, craftsmanship, and expression.
Because every stitch, every texture, and every detail has a story that deserves to be told.
At the beginning of the 19th century, a new aesthetic sensibility emerged, embracing lightness, naturalness, and harmony of forms. Women's fashion gradually abandoned rigid structures to give way to freer silhouettes, where movement and simplicity take center stage. Light fabrics, soft lines, and classic inspiration create a serene and refined image.
In this context, a shoe is proposed, conceived as an extension of this idea of freedom. A light and delicate white satin design, that accompanies the step without imposing itself, respecting the flow of the ensemble. The vamp, free of ornaments, reinforces that search for balance and simplicity, letting the form and material speak for themselves.
As a nod to the textile richness of the dress, the shoe incorporates subtle metallic thread details that evoke its delicate floral embroidery without falling into literalness. A work carried out by our colleague Eugenia, who has embroidered it stitch by stitch, with care and delicacy, bringing to life small details that fill the shoe with magic.
This contrast between sobriety and detail adds depth to the design and establishes a silent dialogue between both pieces.
The proposal is aimed at women of strong and witty character, who find in simplicity a form of expression. Women who, like the heroines of the literature of the time —Elizabeth Bennet, Elinor Dashwood, or Anne Elliot—, stand out for their independence of thought, their sensitivity, and their capacity for decision-making.
More than an accessory, this shoe is an attitude: a way of walking with lightness, but with determination. A piece that balances delicacy and character, tradition and contemporaneity, accompanying a free, conscious, and elegant woman.
